I am going back to school and I had rescued these two TBs from uncertain fates, as their trainer needed the stalls. Neither of them are worth much money, so they're not something I can put time into and sell. Which is why I had hoped they'd be gone ASAP. I've now had them over a month. I have not put any time into retraining on either, because its not worth it to me. 10 y/o 16.1 gelding. Very pretty, bay with white. Turf winner, enlarged ankle that is cold and set, and he is sound on it. Very classy runner, won a lot of money. He deserves a new home, he needs an experienced rider. Very athletic- not spooky but not super quiet. $600 cash and will deliver within reason- Maine or near Suffolk Downs in Boston. 5 y/o 16 hand gelding. Black, classy stakes winner. Beautiful shoulder, will be a nice mover. Not 100% sound yet. He has spurs in his knees from before he went into race training, raced on them, took too long to come back from his last race. He's an absolute sweetheart with a quiet, loving personality. Should be fine for trail riding and possibly low level dressage as long as you don't ask him to compete every weekend. He's just going to be a wonderful companion. Needs about 6 months to rest, put on weight, etc. He looks horrible right now, very thin, and still sore. $300 cash and will deliver within reason. Please limit inquiries to serious ones only- they need to go ASAP.

Met both these horses this past weekend. Both are exactly as described. Had I had the room and money for another horse, I would have taken either of these. I have to say, though, that the 5 y/o really does have the kindest face and seemed to have something very endearing about him.
Hope they both find good homes, soon!
