;D ;D She foaled at 3:30 pm today. A perfect filly that will be grey, Rain is being a great mom and everyone is healthy. I don't have a barn name or a reg name yet? any help? Stallion is Achieva, Mare is Wild Rain. Really need a barn name quick. I would also like to post pics  can anyone help me out? I'll check tomorrow, must go to bed, body needs sleep....Ahhhhh nothing can compare to the birth of a living thing...... |

Hmmm, in light of all the snow everyone is getting how's about. Achieva Wild Blizzard? Blitz for short.
Wasn't there a kids book about a firestation horse named Blitz?

Always great to have a healthy foal and an uneventful foaling!  As for names, Zeus was called Bebe for a few weeks, as I couldn't think of a barn name. Of course, I had his registered name picked before he foaled! Wasn't there a kids book about a firestation horse named Blitz? Yes, there was. It was a good book. I can't recall the plot, tho'. |

and what a relief the foaling went well! Ahhhh, a little filly, how sweet. As far as a barn name, if you want to keep with the weather theme, how about Misty, Sunny, Cloud (okay, that one's taken), Sky, Snowflake (I know, I stink at this!!) ;D

Neige (snow in French), Etoile (star)
Arwen (sorry--I just re-read Lord of the Rings)
Alizée (a wind's name) - Oasis ( I like that name ;D)

Oops, don't check the board for a couple hours and Rain has her FILLY BABY!!!! Yahoo! See, when you told us she had Chance 36 hours after waxing up, I KNEW she'd have her new baby pronto! Just what you wanted! A filly. I love Niaru's French selection of names...with a mommy named Wild Rain, you GOTTA do the weather thing.... Niege sounds really pretty...(snow) Did you guys get all that snow that far south?
