OK, not fabulous shots cause my digital has limited indoor arena capabilities and dust reflecs in the flash. By the way, white horses show up better than arena coloured horses. :hahaha: Zen almost running me over, and no his feet aren't touching the ground. A little tamer, isn't he cute? The Boys! Flynn showing his stuff and blending in too well. Again Flynn's hard to see, but aren't they just the cutest?

I just plain love Zen Now, please tell me that this wonderful indoor is not in your yard? Please tell me you pay three hundred bucks a month per horse or something like that to assuage my jealousy Tell me the barn manager is a witch anod won't let you visit except between two thirty and three tirty every other wednesday? I love the pictures! They look so happy, and CLEAN and DRY!!!

Cute pics ZEN! Yes, Zen is a nice horse!
LYNNE, if it's any consolation, I paid $450 at the indoor for Rita...(full board). Around here, that's not even very expensive for a barn with an indoor. Further South (toward Mass) it's $650-$700. :bang:

These are very nice pictures. And now...it occurs to me that you have NO EXCUSE to NOT be riding and training your horse(s) year round, do you? We should be hearing updates of training accomplishments on a daily basis, if you have such a nice indoor arena, a fact which had escaped me up to this point. See, I have loads and loads and LOADS of excuses not be be riding my horses...and yet YOU...ZenRider, have none. That sure is a nice place and I"m glad that the boyz get to be boarded together these days. They LOFF each other, don't they!?

The boyz look great!
But Niaru, I'm fainting at the prices you mention. You must relocate to Ohio...right SMay? You could keep lots of horses here for the same price you pay there! But then, of course, we have this wonderful weather to consider. Enough snow already!!!

Indoor...nice. I only briefly boarded at a place with an indoor and Madeline was on stall rest the whole time. Talk about prices-where I had Madeline last has now gone up to $450 a month and they don't even have an indoor arena and I was buying my own food cause all they fed was straight oats. Thank goodness for friends who love your horse and want to take care of her. Even in Maryland, I was only paying $290 a month and I was usually working part of that off.

LOL, nice indoor, not huge, but very rideable, but I'm still a wimp when it's cold. Cleaning house today, so no time for riding and work has been interfering with most of my ride time. Plus, I've been really working on getting Zen comfortable on that left lead of his and figure until he's doing it comfortably without me (and he is getting much better) there's no point trying it with me throwing his balance off. Lynne, no it's not in my backyard, though if it was I certainly would ride a lot more. Board is currently extremely reasonable at this place, but don't know how much longer that will last, cause the rest of the area is higher and with gas prices and all, I'm sure we'll go up at least another $15 by spring. But right now they are $215 a month each. And that's with daily turnout, except on the really horrible days. ONe reason they've always kept their prices down is they have their own hayfield. Downside, they have to fit it in their work schedule, so sometimes the hay is a little on the stalky side, but it is always good. Other reason I don't ride more during the week, is it's an hour from where I live, so unless I get start getting off work a lot earlier, it's really hard to go ride. Sigh. Oh and I can go there any time, but they do let the Akita loose in the barn at night these days. They have a horse/tack theft ring working the area. Grrrrr

Ummmm me thinks I need to rethink my boarders rates! LoL I board a pony for a friend of mine and I only charge 50 bucks a month, and thats includes everything, except vet care! Worming, trimming, daily turnouts, feeding, and even grooming on the occations that she can't make it out and they are all mudpuppies! No I don't have an indoor, but I do have a 60 foot round pen, does that count for anything? Zen, the pictures are great, both the boys look very happy to be together again! Glad things worked out!
