yep she started waxing yesterday, earlier than last year but, thats fine. Last year she foal 36 hrs after waxing that would mean tonight or tomorrow night AND TONIGHT is FULL MOON  Not sure if I believe in the full moon thing but, I sure will consider it! ;D |

Hope everything goes smoothly for Rain! If you milk her, is it clear or white? That's another thing to check for.

Isn't it nice to have a mare ready to foal, who is healthy and happy, and who had a foal last year with no incident, and everything? Sure takes a load off your mind, doesn't it? Oh I hope she has a gorgeous filly! If she foaled 36 hours after waxing last year, MAN, she might be ready to go RIGHT NOW! Cool! You KEEP US POSTED! How fun.

But I sure hope you're in warmer areas than I am....I can't imagine a mare foaling in the temperatures we have right now...0 F outside my window this am.

thanks for the good thoughts everyone! Yes Smay it does help me keep from freaking out to much. She has waxed all day and isn't a happy camper - mostly due to its turned cooler, raining and windy and WOW does she hate the rain (go figure) and being stalled early.....
I'll let you all know asap, got the digital camera ready.
Could someone give me direction on how to go about posting? last time I did it was on photosomething that is no longer.
