Official Rolex tickets order form? Feel sooo special. ;D
OK, I know it's cause I pre-ordered my tickets by mail last year, so now I'm on their list, but I still feel special. Specially since it's cool, with a few pictures and everything. ;D

Since I'm doing World Cup this year I'm thinking Rolex next year. Perhaps I can drag Michelle, and CatB along too since we're all hip jetsetting equestrian types.
Is it about the same time every year? In fact I think I'll start getting excited already. Yep definately gonna try and go next year...

ClaireLV, The Rolex is always the last weekend of April. Or if it makes it easier, the weekend before the Kentucky Derby! At least it has been since 1988. Before that it was the last weekend of May. They changed it because they kept having really hot weather at the end of May. Perhaps there were other reasons too, but that was what I heard. And I did go in 1987 and it was HOT, so it makes sense. Of course, now they get more rain and COLD. I remember camping there one year and waking up to frost on my tent.  Last year was rainy, but believe it or not, not as cold.  Well, at night anyway, the day time temps Saturday, definitely colder than I remember. Of course, this year it WILL be perfect cause SMay's got a trailer with heat! ;D Sure ya all don't want to make a detour on your way home (and you just take a trip Claire) and join us at camp?  |
