I sure would like to thank whoever it was on this board who told us to check out this magazine and order a free subscription to it...I just got my first issue and it is CHOCK full of articles on the topics we discuss DAILY on this board! So informative. There's a whole article on vaccinations, an article on lighting your arena, one on how to hold a schooling show, and a profile on one barn who does a special riding lesson system that works...so much good information! Thank you and here is the website so you all can order your free subscription. Dineen - this is the BEST source for you to get the ammo you need to manager YOUR stable... check it out www.stable-management.com/index.html

I've been meaning to sign up for that myself. I heard it was good. How can they give so many free subscriptions, I wonder.

lots of magazine will do a free subscription drive to build up the circ. numbers, in order to show advertisers that they have lots of readers, and then they can charge for advertising, and they they can make a profit and fill up the magazine. It's a tricky start-up thing. But it works and hey, I like this magazine a lot! I especially liked the How To article on setting up a schooling show, cause I got put on a committee to do our Standardbred Club schooling show and clinic this spring, and i needed a big CHECKLIST like they had in there...cause I ain't never done one before! hahaha

Hope to take a leisurely look through this weekend while I'm lying on the couch, eating bon-bons.

Okay! I signed up too ;D What I really liked though was where I had to tell my horse-related job description. I knew I'd have to type in White Trash Farm Manager but then I thought they might not send it to me So instead I checked a half a dozen things since I am the owner, and the manager, and the "trainer" and the horse enthusiast and I certainly must qualify as an equine writer! (How do equines do that anyway? Write? With no thumbs, no fingers? Hmmmm....) Thanks you guys.

I was the one who posted the link to subscribe to "Stable Management". I think it's a great mag. I even like the ADS, since they're horse related and often ones I don't see elsewhere.

I remember when you told us to subscribe, but it took a while to get here! I like the ads too because they have unusual ones like cool farm equipment, and arenas and stuff!
