Yep, thats me..Good memory!! I almost couldn't find where everyone went... As if all wasn't bad enough, Atlas developed colic Friday afternooon and me with no insurance!! Walked him to keep him up, Vet came, and we were up most of the night. He cleared what was an impaction nearing midnight and is now fine and his usual "bad self". I now have insurance as what it cost in one nights vet fee could have paid a years premium with change left over! My vet says now that he's insured he will not be sick ever again! Hopefully so. Well got my exercise in the freezing night! My daughter asks me if I still think having a horse is worth it? Even though I have had a rough start, I have to say yes!

Midnight Flower: I am sorry to hear about your accident. After reading your post I think deep down you like this horse. If the "whisperer" is patient and willing to help you understand the horse I think it is well worth the effort. I have an OTTB and am fairly new to the equine endeavor. There is a BB that has many people who have alot of knowledge on horse behavior and are willing to help with problems. The website is www.ttlt.com. Go to TTLT Communities on the left side and click on BB. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the support...yes he is a pretty boy and I do like him. Actually, I love him! I believe that we can work things out. Finding the right trainer is the key. I know that I need help with him and will not give up on him. Will check out the website.
