Met Moo and Mr Moo today. She's really cool. Poor Mr. Moo, had to stay at the barn and play with the cats while we rode. :smirk: Zen got the day off riding, she's riding my friend Lynn's horse Picasso and I rode the old man Flynn. Though after we rode, I free lunged him and he was not only perfect, but sound. (well almost perfect, he did cross canter once) Which is great, cause yesterday he was still acting a bit off on that right front. Anyway, we had a perfect day for riding.

LOL oops I posted about this on the other forum! Oh well.. anyway I had a GREAT TIME! Totally made my... month!! ZenRider is super cool and her ponies are graaand!! I had a great time on Picasso!! Umm yes ok please excuse my appearance, my riding stuff hasn't gotten here from VA yet and all I had were my other beat up pair of chaps. MMh-hmm yes and that first picture is a beautiful example of why I am on a diet. LOL! No seriously though, it was a beautiful day and I'm really glad we did it. Zen is freaking gorgeous! And Flynn is a cute little spunky thang. You can tell they both love their mommie.

:brian: Alright y'all, so yesterday was my first "real" encounter with horses - and it was great! I've always been a little nervous around animals that are bigger than I am, but my gal made me very comfortable, and she even told me the horse she was riding - Picasso - liked me, which made me feel pretty cool. Anyway, I just wanted to thank ZenRider for letting us come and hang out at the ranch, it made for a very fun day. Just look at the pics of Moo at the top of the page - ain't she cute?? I especially like her in that baseball cap. Well, gotta run to class now - just thought I'd drop a line. Have a good one!

How fun! That is so cool. You guys look like you're having a great time and you look fine to me. I'd like to see Mr. dictate of fashion, George Morris on a hot Utah summer day wearing his tidy polo shirt -tucked in with appropriate belt and full boots. Heh! He'd last 10 minutes. Or maybe he would last 10 minutes out of fainting when he saw what we wear out West

Haha! I guess riding hunters with the 'high brow' has me too used to full chaps, the polo shirt tucked in with the belt and helmet and gloves!! Hey, I AM wearing jeans though. And hell I don't hesitate to ride in shorts and chaps.

Hehe, hadn't thought about the helmets. Yep. I'm afraid we must remove your photo from this month's Practical Horseman. We wear chaps and helmets and all that, but in summer lots us us ditch the chaps in favor of 1/2's and I wear thin tights (hey, I try to coordinate at least with dark undearwear ) and hope noone's looking down our tops in two point cause all of ours get pretty skimpy hehe! I hung up my favorite horse sweatshirt with the dressage embroidery the other day and my husband asked if I wasn't going to iron it? Hugh??? So . . . that pretty much sums up what my shirts look like ;D

Yup was fun. Yeah, Moo had emailed me telling me she felt funny not dressing the part. :hahaha: Then she rode with us and realized that if she had dressed up much more she would have been way over dressed. Oh, and I did let Moo ride Flynn too after our trail ride and he didn't run away with her. Now that says a lot. hehehe, he can be a little stinker sometimes. Didn't get a picture of Mr Moo with a cat but I did get a cute picture of one of the boarders daughters with one of the cats.
