Just curious if you guys had seen the news that J K Rowling is writing the screen plays for a few movies that, while they don't feature any characters from Harry Potter, "explore his world". Apparently they take place decades before Potter, but are about magic and creatures. It's called "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them".

I will admit, I'm kind of excited about it.

Its just that some of us... me for instance... really likes TBs... always have, always will. They can give you premature grey hair... but they will also kill themselves for you... literally.... and there is something very addicting about a horse that is willing to care that much about a human.

Yes, during the books she also wrote some "classroom" books for Harry and friends.

They are:

Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them by Newt Scamander

Quidditch Through The Years by Kennilworthy Whisp

The Tales Of Beedle The Bard Translated from the original runes by Hermione Granger by J.K. Rowling

I guess they are going to write some kind of screen play from them.
