It's a weird thing, but I know 4 people with birthdays today! An expensive time of year ...
There's my best and oldest friend, in every sense of the word. Colin.
There's my very good girlfriend, Jean, who seems to get younger every year.
There's Mullet, who will NOT be getting a card or gift.
Then there's Dan, the youngest of the group, who worked for me for 5 years.
I can't work out what special event happens 9 months before every 4th September ... to lead to all this fruition.
I only know one other person who shares MY birthday! We text each other : 'Happy OUR day!'
