Oh! They've just sung the Marseilles! Gilles Simon at 8-6 in the tie-break. It's an all-French final. I'll keep you in touch.
Simon is 40-30 ..

Serena is still going. I don't know about Venus. Crazy, crazy.
They were 'Projects' kids. But Pappa Williams pushed and pushed them.
And look? They ruled the world.
'Dance Moms' are everywhere. Tennis, riding, gymnastics - oh, maths, everywhere.

Ah yes I saw that match too! It's funny how the crowd started cheering Federer so they could go to 5 sets... Still, nothing like Haas / Isner.
Yes Serena is still there but Venus got kicked out 1st round, I think. I don't follow the women that much, it's just not as entertaining as the men's game.

I think that was more true for one of them then the other. However, let's face it, I don't think either sister would want a regular day job after being on top of the tennis world.

Oh, don't worry. They have plenty of money. And one or t'other of them will be guesting on Oprah - the other of them will start a line of tennis couture.
They'll do fine. Do you think one of them would adopt a small, snappy Border Collie who is scared of sheep? Or a large, beautiful, blonde German Shepherd who is scared of Border Collies?
No, I thought you'd say that ...
It's Small Man Syndrome. Little sod.

Not Federer (the Swiss), Brooks, but Ferrer (the Spaniard)! That was a Spanish final. And then you had that shirtless guy who thought it would be a great idea to light a boat flare and run towards Nadal during the game....

Ah well, Claire, your French sports hooligans ... It's embarrassing to we Brits, when our football fans are so well-behaved ....
ps - they've just had another flare go off. Does anyone know what they're protesting about? Oh and why a tennis match would be a suitable venue? Probably only because they wouldn't get the flares through a stadium turnstile. Idiots. If you're going to hijack the cameras, at least have some banners or placards.
See? That's worrying. An act of public disorder and my professional brain kicks in ... "No, no, no, you're doing it ALL wrong."
My values are becoming twisted ...
