And as for Zen's Aussies! Same thing, really.
Has anyone heard of 'Hurley'? That's sort of Irish Hockey. As I understand it, no rules apply ...

No I have not heard of that. I got hooked on Hockey (America style) last year when the Los Angeles Kings won the Stanley Cup. I don't know all the rules yet but enjoy watching the games.
So, I turned around, and said .. GOOOOO KINGS GOOOOO

;D At school, we were FORCED to play netball (not nearly as exciting as basketball) AND hockey AND swimming AND diving ... but at least the girls weren't forced to play foooot.... Aged 12, I had a mad crush on the Captain of the boys' hockey team, Mark Somebody, all of 17. Of course, he didn't know that a little squirt like me existed. Then ... someone sent me a picture of him today...... I HATE YOU, FRIENDS REUNITED!  Bubble burst. |

Forced to play Hockey? Oh my. I tried field hockey once...not good. I whacked myself in the shins, whacked other people in other body parts...and was banned. lol
At school, we really weren't forced into any sports (it being a, ya know, French school, ya know) but I played volleyball and handball, those are FUN!
As for Beckham...he just RETIRED! He had been playing for Paris-Saint-Germain lately, who won the French championship. Shortly after that, he announced his retirement. At 38. Ain't that nice?

Yes and I don't even think he actually played that much, between being injured and blah blah blah.
The money people get for playing sports is just obscene.
