I just have to share.
Her face has healed, she's sound, and I've had 2 lessons in the past 2 weeks. One dressage, one jumping. She was a star!
She (and I!) is discovering a whole new "gear" in dressage, once I tell her that no, she can't lean on me - she wants to travel with her nose on the ground if I let her) and no, she can't be lazy and has to move her hiney and be uphill!
Lots of work for me at first, but then we got a much bigger trot and a light, attentive and responsive horse. She was dubbed "little power house" by Instructor.

Then today, jumping lesson, which I had a feeling would go well since I had to wake her up from her nap in the sun.
We haven't really jumped since last fall, just a X here and there.
Today we jumped ONE crossrail then went on to 2'6 - 2'9 (faked) stone walls, panels, lines, in and outs, oxers...she never looked at any of them, took everything in stride, didn't rush and even had her knees to her chin at times (over the oxers!)
I love my horse (when she's like this, at least!!!)
