Ouch! I hate when that happens. Your fence sounds super-charged, for you to still hurt an hour later!

Ouch! I hate when that happens. Your fence sounds super-charged, for you to still hurt an hour later! Hubby (who was standing there watching me - thanks for the warning, hubs) said it's over 5000 volts, reminding me of that as I was bent over double cussing. I was right by the charger, too, so I got a nice, fresh charge with no loss. He'd been working in the fields all day, fertilizing the pastures. I was trying to be helpful & open the gate for him to go into the next pasture. I thought he certainly had it off as we usually cut the power when we're in the pastures. So since the handle was giving me a fit, I used both hands (one moist from a soda can) to fight with it, in the process wrapping one hand around the entire Horseguard strand.

Dontcha know you ain't supposed to use your hand to test with? LOL
I know how that smarts and the twitching can last a long time. I actually check my electric with the truck - turn the radio on AM and drive the perimeter - the current makes the radio click.
