Yes I AM! Roger wasn't going to let me go, but then he had to have that '77 F350 located 3 miles from the KHP. We actually still have that truck, and Shelby wants Roger to fix it up so it can be her first vehicle in September. We will most defintely plan to be at Reunion 2014- Henry will be a star attraction!
Suzy, I made reservations at the HIE in Frankfort ($109/night for 4 people), but we will have to get together for dinner again.

2014 for sure, 2013 only if people promise show up at my camper. OK and if I can get that Friday off, and if I get the truck in the shop to make sure it's ready for the trip. Common, it has 306,000 miles on it and is 19 years old, the only reason I haven't taken it in sooner, is, well, I have a car to drive most of the time. OK and once it gets warmed up, seems OK. That and a new one is $55,000 or more (similarly equipped), so, well, I guess I have to figure out how to get it to the right shop. OK, getting it to the shop will be easy, it's the getting me home that's a bit more complicated. Next year for sure. Common Bara, flights into Chicago are usually not too bad. OK, the truck and camper are no smoking zones (allergies), but there are plenty of rest areas on the way. ;D We can do the Bourbon trail on the way there if planned right.

Omiword! Yes, you are SOME woman, Santa! Zen, Bourbon would put me out of the game. I'm guessing no-one wants to ride at Drizzling Woods? I'll find another one. It's not that hard from Shetland ..

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Frankfort and it's not a bad drive at all. It was nice to stop for breakfast on the way in the horse park as well.

Deb and I were at Motel 6 - and so were Shannon, Ann and Bruce. Not all in the same room! Deb and I shared and rumour has it that Ann and Bruce shared. And Deb and I weren't even married to each other. Oh I WISH I could come, too!

We'll leave early. Do you just need a General Admission ticket to watch the XC? Thanks! Yes, XCountry is general admission. I still think it's crass of them to charge for seating for Dressage, not many sit all day for dressage. Those are shopping days!!, but if people will pay extra for it, they'll keep selling it. Stadium Jumping I kinda understand, but kind of reminisce the old days of first come best seated, or stood, as there weren't that many seats. It's a good thing those years I was largely traveling with someone with more motivation then me to get up early.

A friend and I are going this year. We have never been before. Can you guys give me ideas about where to stay? I would like to keep it down in price, but she is a DQ so it cannot be the Bates motel.... We are driving from Easter PA on Thursday. We should buy stadium tickets yes? covered or NO? And a 4 day pass?

And a 4 day pass? Ya could always sleep in your car in the primitive camping at the Park, that's the cheapest option. Think she would go for that? Just be glad they finally fixed the hot water in the showers problem. A problem they had for a long, long time. About 4AM or 4PM were about the only times you could have a hot shower. Yeah, I took a lot of cold showers at the Horse Park way back when. You could always try the travel sites and see what kind of last minute deal you might find. Of course, the best deals you don't know what hotel you are getting until you lock in the deal.

Anyone else staying there? I hear Paris is little, where is a fun place to eat? I want to do something country western!
