Not so great - just assuming the role of Rolex Camping Organizer from Zenrider. ..who started this whole thing back in 2001 or so. Zenrider, you need to maybe come down THIS year to help supervise this camping adventure and help get us organized for 2014, when we are going to do this up bigtime for the Longines TDE 2014. That doesn't sound right, does it. Speaking of sound, can you guys BELIEVE that Nigel is not going to be announcing anymore? Waah. I can't imagine Rolex, especially XC, without his voice on the loudspeakers!

Well, if I can use an optional day Friday, maybe I'll come down for primitive camping (in my camper of course, truck willing) that day for cross country Saturday. Head back Sunday. Big Maybe, but I might just be up for that. Weather permitting of course. Not sure how much supervising I'd be doing, but I might make nachos. ;D Wow, Nigel is retiring as Rolex Kentucky announcer? No Nigel isn't RETIRING, they "let him go!!" can you BELIEVE IT? The guy that did the Olympics, whathisface, is taking over. So i guess the accent will be similar.

I just want to let you all know I am sitting across the table from my bf and going through a check list of things we will need for camping...he's writing down everything from tent to plastic silverware....good lord what did I get myself into?!

hmmmmmm so I think we'll know for sure after this week, right now its 50/50 due to other activities (including a possible horse trial for D and I), money, timing, vacation days, etc.

Yeah, afraid my campers black water holding tank is not big enough for a group of exracers. I think they put a few portables out in the primitive area during Rolex.

We won't be able to go this year  My friend is having her bachelorette party the weekend before in Chicago, so my Rolex budget is going to that :/ My bf's cousin is getting married in July, in NY, so there goes his budget!! Next year :/ |
