LOL! You'd better write a story, then ... Perhaps a kiddies' story.
I'll start :
"What shall I do today?" wondered Brooks. She'd fed all the critturs, done all her chores and taken a long hot shower with lots of wonderful bubble things. She'd massaged her feet and her hands and rubbed body butter all over herself.
She'd got dressed in her finest Western gear. She'd changed her chair seat to her latest psychedlic, glittery one. She'd oiled her wheels and replenished her spare parts bag.
But she was bored.
She felt restless. She wheeled over to the window and looked out at the sky.
"I know," she said, "I'll ........"

;D ;D "I'll put away all my Christmas stuff while waiting for a special phone call from her friend". "Mmmmm" she thought " I know all the stuff came out of these boxes why won't it all fit back in, " she said. While trying frantically to get all her things back in the boxes she also worried about her friend Big Tee and where or what had happen to her, it had been before Christmas since she had seen her on exracers last.

So Brooks crammed the last of the Christmas bits into the box. The fairy from the top of the tree was most indignant at being squashed unceremoniously into the tinsel.
As the lid closed and the light was shut out, she sighed.
"Well, that's it for another year," she grumbled, smoothing down her skirt and straightening out her wand, which had become a little crumpled. She settled down to sleep, cuddling up to the star-who-was-her-best-friend.
Meanwhile, Brooks had clamped her second best stetson onto her head and had maps spread out all over her desk. She looked at the phone. It STILL didn't ring, so she still had no idea what was happening with BigTee.
She sighed, then consulted her maps.
"So," she murmured to herself, "from CA to Canada is about ..." She mumbled, consulted her calculator and went pale.
"And then, once I get to Canada, I have to get to Alberta (?) which is about ..." She sat back.
"Good heavens," she said out loud. "I'll need to get my chair serviced." She reckoned that with a fair wind and following the highways (was she LEGAL to drive a wheelchair on the main roads?) it would take her about ....
"Three months!" cried Brooks.
For a moment she sat back in despair. Then she had a thought. Opening the Christmas box again, she said :
"Excuse me, Christmas fairy?"
The fairy (who's name was Allouette) opened one eye. She had just begun to snore, softly. "Wha?" She said. The star snuffled in its sleep.
"Excuse me, Allouette," continued Brooks "do you know how we could get to Canada to see our friend Big Tee?"
Allouette sighed, sat up, rubbed her eyes and elbowed the star between its points. "Wake up, Estelle," she said. "We have a 'between-seasons' commission.
Next thing, Brooks, Allouette and Estelle were poring over the maps.
The fairy sat back, smoothing her skirts and spinning her wand.
"I think, " she mused, "I THINK we'll need the south wind." The star looked alarmed.

Allouette and Estelle said "WHERE? " " Three miles east of Dog River, in Saskatchewan". Brooks said "We will need our arctic gear" said Allouette. "Are you sure that's where she is?" "Well that's what here Avatar says, and she does talk about it being very cold and father north then Terrie." It would be so much easier if I just her cell number, thought Brooks

The star tinkled excitedly, dancing on two of her points waving her arms.
Allouette was nodding.
"What?!" Asked Brooks.
The fairy thoughtfully tapped the map on Dog River.
"What!?" demanded Brooks.
"We have a friend in Saskatchawan," said Allouette. "HE might be able to help.." She pulled out a teeny-tiny cellphone from her tutu.
"Who?" demanded Brooks, curious.
The Star tinkled excitedly, but Brooks couldn't understand a word she was tinkling. "WHO?" she repeated.
But Allouette was on the phone and waved her to silence, distractedly.
Then - "Hello?" she said. "HELLO, can you hear me?"
"BIGFOOT, HI! It's me! Fine, fine - and YOU? And Mrs Saskwatch? Good, good. Oh - you know, Christmas, busy season ... HE HAS? That's wonderful. And the little 'un? Good, good. Listen, Sassy ..." she covered the mouthpiece and rolled her eyes.
"That's great! Ice hockey is exciting, but - Sassy ....." The fairy sighed under her breath.
"Well, yes," she said. "That's what I'm trying to say. We'll be in your area. Bringing a friend. A human ..."
She examined her fingernails while the phone chattered excitedly, the star bounced from point to point and Brooks looked confused.
"H-U-M-A-N" repeated Allouette, patiently. "By wheelchair," she explained. Eventually she hung up.
"Right," she said. "Sassy is going to check out Big Tee's place. Boy! That will give her a shock when she see's the footprints in the white stuff!"
They all laughed.
"Now," said Brooks, "We need our arctic gear and - did someone mention the South Wind?"
Estelle and Allouette nodded. Rad poked his head through the window.

Excuse the editorial intrusion, but the star should be twinkling, not tinkling.
You may continue.

Excuse the editorial intrusion, but the star should be twinkling, not tinkling. You may continue. Or perhaps we should all invest in umbrellas if the stars are going to be tinkling down on us.

Estelle deflated...
No, no, cried everyone! Rad raised his umbrella, then came in. "I'm in on this," he neighed.
So our adventurers planned their route...
Brooks decided that it was probably best to take the truck. So they loaded up with hay for Rad, twinkles and fairy cakes for Estelle and Allouette and lots of bottled water and snacks for Brooksie.
They were just pulling out of the driveway, with Allouette in the passenger seat surrounded by maps, when a goat jumped up at the window.
Brooks screeched to a halt.
"Good evening, Capricorn," she said.
Capricorn sat back.
"Yoooouve forrrrgottten yourrrr passsporttt!" he bleated.
Brooks swore, under her breath.
Ten minutes later, our heroes, complete with Capricorn, who rode in the back with Rad, were on their way to Canada.
"SHUT UP!" said Brooks to Allouette. They'd been driving for five hours and the fairy hadn't stopped giving directions, despite the fact that she couldn't see over the dashboard.
Estelle was snoring. Rad and Capricorn were continually bickering over the haynet -
Brooks' nerves were frayed. The Canadian border was in sight. She didn't give a flying duck whether the star tinkled or twinkled - as long as it kept quiet.
Bigfoot had promised that he would be waiting just over the other side in the Fraser Valley.
Would they make it over the border? Wondered Brooks and her carnival of beings.

Suddenly, Brooks screeched to a halt.
In the darkness, everyone was thrown forward. Allouette picked herself up from underneath Estelle in the footwell of the truck.
She smoothed out her brand new 'Snow-Queen' arctic outfit and sniffily sat back up in her seat.
Estelle tested all her points, found nothing broken and snuffled back to sleep in the footwell.Rad opened his eyes and sleepily thought 'Goat?' Then drifted off again.Capricorn didn't even wake up.
"Yes?" said Brooks, rolling down her window.
"Are you going over the border?" Quacked the duck. "I'm a flying duck, " he explained. Brooks could see he was a Mallard - and very cold.
"Well, hope to," she said. "Hop in."

So once again they started off Brooks, Allouette, Estelle, Rad, Capricorn and Henry the duck. It was long into the night and she could drive no longer and had to find a place to sleep, "where I am going to find a place to sleep that will take a goat, horse, duck and two faeries and that's wheelchair accessible?" "It will never happen" she said. Just then she saw the next off ramp and smiled Luci!! she said, "I'll drive up to her place she'll have room for us all, afterall it's just for one night

The lights were blinding as Brooks pulled in to the waiting area at the Canadian border.
They sat, patiently.
"By the way," hissed Brooks, to the Mallard. "What is your name?"
"Simon Cowell," hissed the Mallard.
"WHAT!?" Shouted Brooks.
"SHHHH," Hissed the Mallard.

Brooks sighed. "Simon" she said, "WE KNOW you are Henry."
Henry blushed and shuffled his wings.
"How about," suggested Brooks, "We see if my friends Luci and Michael are in?" Everyone nodded.
"Then, maybe, we tackle the border in the morning?"
Everyone nodded, gratefully ..
"Wait!" cried Allouette, "There's morse code being flashed from over the border. I think it's BIGFOOT!"
They all held their breath.
The fairy trained her nightglasses on the flashing signals ..
"He says....." she said. "W-h-o ... w-a-n-t-s ... c-e-r-e-a- l and w-h-o . w-a-n-t-s ...m-u-f-f-i-n-s ...."
She looked up, blinked.
"I guess," said Allouette, "that Rad, Capricorn and Henry would prefer cereals?"

As the truck pulled in to Luci's place, really late at night, Brooks was almost dead at the wheel; she had been driving for hours with a motley crew of critturs and imaginary beings.
She wanted nothing more than a bath and bed and a hot cocoa.
As the engine cut, she roused herself and looked around the cab and the trailer.
Allouette, Estelle and Henry were cuddled up in the footwell, arms, points and wings entwined. The fairy's mouth was open, she was dribbling and, for once, completely unconcerned with her appearance. The star was neither twinkling nor tinkling (for which, Brooks breathed a sigh of relief.) and the duck was softly quacking in his sleep.
Rad and Capricorn were lying down in the back of the trailer; Rad dreaming of summer meadows and Capri gently butting him in the stomach when his hooves twitched.
For a moment, Brooks rested her head on the steering wheel.
Then the back door of the house opened and Luci and Michael burst out, light pouring all over the yard.
Rad and Capricorn were settled in a warm, deep stall. Henry was given a whole chicken coop to command ...
And Brooks, Allouette, Estelle, Luci and Michael were sitting at Luci's kitchen table with hot cocoa and buttered muffins.
The maps were spread out again.
"Here," said Allouette, tapping the map again. "Here's the border. Bigfoot is stationed HERE.." she put her tiny finger on Chilliwack in BC.
"Here's the plan .... " Brooks took over.....
"Is there any more cocoa, please, Luci?" She asked. "Here's the plan," she continued.
"Bigfoot's older boy, Cedric, is now a member of the RCMP." They all stared at her.
"Equal Opportunities Commission," she explained.
Rad gasped. "But how does a 7ft, 400lb mounted policeman find a HORSE?" He shuddered.
Luci topped up the cocoa. "Well," she said, "Bighoof, obviously ..."
