"But mum, I want to go too." said Joey. "What is that?" he asked, as he pointed to the sky.
Suddenly all of the exracers and four-legged friends came into view. As they were circling in the sky, Terrie shouted to Bara, "Watch out hon we're coming in for a landing."
Soon all were on the ground, shaking off the all the traveling they had done. Many had come from far and wide to be at sweet Baras that day. the dragons were grouped into a small circle slowly going to sleep. Safe in knowing that their partners were on the ground. the horses were busy eating the grass and the dogs were playing with Lexies ball and getting to know Joey.
"Phew, we finally made it." said Brooks.
Now what should we do for fun, thought Bara, and how in the heck am I going to be able to feed all these people.............

Terrie and Bara sat on the floor, watching the Northern Lights, heads together, eating dinner and planning the next move to Disneyworld.
Outside, horses, dragons and dogs (with the occasional cat) were playing with their new bubble machine.
"Excellent roast lamb, Bara, " said Terrie. Bara and Joe shifted uncomfortably. There was a glimmer of torchlight at the end of the lane.
"Do you remember," asked Terrie, "when we broke your dogs out of boot-camp?"
Lexie nodded...
"Well," said Terrie, "we need Stella and Duncan."
Lexie nodded.
"And Brooks," she woofed.
"And Brooks," agreed Terrie and Bara.

"So for right now, let's get a good nights sleep. We'll be able to think clearer in the morning." said Terrie.
Anew thought came to Bara as she was showing them where to lay down. What if the others didn't think it was a good idea?
As the sun started to rise in the sky the next mornig, Bara was watching everyone start to get up. The dragons were the first, as they stretched out their wings and rattled their scales. Just such beauty in the sunshine. then there came the horses.................

Brooks!! Everyone was scurrying around, packing saddlebags, feeding and watering the livestock, etc. Suddenly, the phone rang. Everyone froze. Bara looked round at all the horrified faces. "I'll have to answer it," she muttered. She switched to speakerphone : "Hello, Barbara, it's Michael," said a voice which Bara recognised. Bara's voice went up a few octaves. "Hello, Michael?" At the other end of the phone, the strong arm of the law giggled. "I know this sounds silly," said Officer Michael, "but we have a report and we have to follow it up. You don't happen to have any, well. Do you have any ...? Do you have .. err ..?" Danny drew a deep breath - Brooks threw herself across him. "Yes, yes, I have some visitors from abroad," babbled Bara. Brooks brushed away her singed eyebrows. They'd only just grown back. "Emmm, are any of them green?" asked the policeman. "I beg your pardon?" "Errr - what species are they?" Asked Michael. "They're American, one Canadian and one French! That question could easily spark an international incident, Michael," admonished Bara. Officer Michael rang off with many apologies. Bara sank down limply. Brooks put her arms around her. "Well done," she said. "You didn't ACTUALLY lie." "Come on! Before the police helicopter arrives!" Brooks clapped her hands, still worried about her eyebrows. Everyone resumed their bustling.

;D
Brooks had one more thing to do before she left Bara's. She and 4 of the biggest and scariest of the dragons went for a walk/roll down the road pass the gate to the neighbor's house. Some older women came out of one house with a very large cast iron frying pan waving it at Brooks, the dragons took this as a threat and without harming the women melted it. The women stop dead her her tracks. Brooks said, " I hear that your giving my friend Bara a lot of grieve over her dogs!!!!! I don't like that, she has found a new home for Boo and he is gone, the dogs she has now won't bother your sheep. If you continue to bother her I'll have to come back with more Dragons!!!!" " Have you ever seen how much damage a single dragon can do?" The old women's eyes got huge and she begin to say something but stopped Brooks had already turned around and was headed back to Bara's. The dragon's made sure they left lots of large foot prints and knocked down a few small fences with their tails. Terrie ran up to Brooks seeing where she had been, "Done ?" Terrie asked, "Done" said Brooks.
"Ok everyone mount up!!!!!!" Yelled Terrie, "Were off again Whoooooooooooo"

"First things first ladies, we have to have a head count and I think we need to let the pups have some down time." Terrie said. " Goalie says that he would like to stay with Bara for a while and make sure that everyone plays nice." Terrie suddenly turned around and came face to face with Michael, the scottish policeman. "Well hello there sir." she said as she was motioning for everyone to get behind the barns and hedges. How can I help you, I am Baras long lost relative from Michigan." It is my first visit to Shetland and I am curious as what to see first." Michael was speechless as he was so concentrating on finding out if there were really dragons hanging out at Baras.
Brooks started toward them and said.............

"Now listen up, Michael! We exracers are getting a bit tired of this. All we're trying to do is to get to Disneyworld. It's like herding cats, really it is!"
Michael touched his hat. "Ma-am," he began ...
"No." Said Brooks. "Don't you ma-am me. Where's Adcooper? Niaru? Welkin? Everybody? Have you put a cordon around Shetland airspace?"
Terrie tapped her on the shoulder. "Brooks... err ?"
"No!" said Brooks, wheeling across Michael's police-issue boots. "No," she said. "You've made derogatory comments about our green companions. Well, get back in that chopper and LEAVE our airspace, because Bara's BLUE nephew is about to arrive."
Brooks wheeled away.
There was a shimmering in the air and a blue police box materialised in Bara's back garden. The evil alien Sau-Til emerged. Michael and the task-force shrank back.
"Tim!" Cried Bara, clutching him. "How's mum? How's dad?"
Sau-Til looked embarrassed and shuffled his feet. "Aww, Auntie Bara!"
"Here's the thing, Tim. Do you have room for all the ex-racers, their dragons, horses, dogs, cats?"
"Errr - it's the Tardis, Auntie Bara ...." said Sau-Til.
"Right! Everybody in!" Said Brooks.

Crossing Time and Space in the twinkling of ... oh, well. You get the picture. Everyone was in line ( ;D ) at the exit port. The horses were pooping, the dragons were breathing; the cats were chasing the dogs - but still the port didn't open. They could see the Magic Kingdom, but they couldn't reach it. They could see Zenrider, with oil streaks all over her face, a slightly faulty truck, waiting to whisk them away.
Terrie called the alien to one side.
"What's the hold up, Sau-Tim? Passport control?"
"No," boomed the alien. "We have stow-aways. We must authenticate their status before we can pass US customs."
"There is a strangely hairy creature and a clean-cut fellow displaying odd insignia."
Brian and Michael drooped.

I could trip down there in high-heeled One-\i-corns on my hob-nailed boots.
It would make no difference;
........ Bara and Forry, Lexie and Joe tilled the soil..
They grew alfalfa; Rye' wheat..
"Oh, f F's sake," screeched Bara.
"Calm down," said Boo.
That is the end of the story,.

(I refuse to let this story end) hehehe
as Bara sat sulking, and zen was in her truck ready to go, Brooks looked up into the sky and what did she see? A whole long line of fairies sprinkling fairy dust upon the land. As the dust settled on the ground, the exracer group felt re-energized and got up and started to gather everyone together.
"We must get Bara to smile again" said Terrie. " Does anyone have any ideas on what to do next?"

After borrowing some Tardis Technology the truck camper was put on the big old spotted truck. Loaded with dragons, ponees, puppees, dragons and some strange griffon that showed up, but would not be left behind. Something about liking GM vehicles.... Anyway, headed down the highway for some seriously touristy stops. First stop the museum at Churchill Downs, where everyone human had to get a silly picture in 70's clothes and on a fiberglass horse in a starting gate. While on the track several horses were having flashbacks hoping for a chance to show their stuff on the dirt track....
