I'm working on the pics!! I'll have them up on my website soon, if not tonight. I have to show off my boy!! ;D
It didn't snow here last night, that's for sure, but maybe the night before, I was gone picking him up in PA.
I am keeping him a stallion actually. He won a decent amount on the track, and is a half brother to the 3rd leading sire in NY State, son of Judge Smells (leading sire in PA in '99 I believe). He's got such a spectacular temperament, I can't believe it. I rode him tonight, he hasn't been ridden in a year I think.. He was GREAT. Walk/trot/some canter (he's LAZY!!!!!!!!)... My plans for him right now are to possibly show him in some hunter shows this summer, then find him a farm to stand him (promote him as a race sire and hopefully a performance sire) for the next three years that I'll be in school and unable to do it. I am breeding him to my AQHA mare this year. He covered a great race bred TB mare last month, too soon to tell, but hopefully she is bred. I'm very excited about the poss. of the appendix baby.. Should be a real nice hunter. I'm going to be very selective this year about who I breed him to, want him to have a great first crop.
I just love this boy though...

What's his name? Is he the one on the left, and Nero on the right?
He's beautiful!

Other way around Niaru. Nero's on the left... His name is "His Testimony" and I have yet to come up with a nickname.. I'm working on it.... He's got some really good race bloodlines, his half brother is the 3rd leading sire in NY right now (was leading last year). And he is a spectacular mover. He covered one mare this year already and you'd never be able to tell he's a stud. Walks around the barn behind me like a big sweetie. Never looks the mare's way and never attempts to be a bad boy. :horsie:
