Glad to hear Tony is on the mend. If you do decide to try this another time, you might think about pour in pads. I had them done on Fifi, who does have thin soles, and they made a world of difference. My farrier poured them in after he trimmed her and they stayed in fairly well. (she's barefoot but goes barefoot all the time). I used them when she was abscessing and sore a lot.
