Gentlemen's Club is a 10yr old nearly 16.2 hand TB gelding. This old war horse has made over 100k in lifetime earnings. He's a big bodied horse who is put together well. This guy does have some old set osselets and has little range of motion left in those ankles. HOWEVER, he is sound for flatwork/dressage. Not saying he couldn't go out and jump cross rails now and then or go over a log on a trail ride though! This is a nice horse that is being offered for free. He has the cutest face and a neat personality. His trainer/Owner is leaving for Florida on saturday and needs to place him asap. If someone needs to pick him up a few days later than that, the trainer is willing to pay someone at the farm to care for him until that time. Located in PA but only about 15 minutes from Mountaineer.

I had to take pictures in the barn because it was pouring outside. There was not a level spot anywhere so this was the best I could do!

Just FYI, Porter had very large ankles from old set osselets, had had little to no flexion in one, and still went Prelim and could pass an FEI jog. He never was injected. I wouldn't say no just because of osselets, even big ones. In some of Porter's jumping pics you can see the lack of flexion, but it never caused an issue and h jumperd pretty big for a long time.
This guy is adorable!

Oh yeah...Tip has osselets in both ankles. This guy however, has very large ones. Not saying he couldn't jump but probably not in his best interest for long term soundness to go to a jumping home.

Darn it Jen, I sure do wish I could afford to take care of another one. If only I didn't have to board! There's something about him that I really like.

He wants to be a Foxhunter. Since getting Punch off the track 18 mos ago, I've become totally enthralled with any horse over the age of 7 who is still on the track or has recently come off. They are amazing animals. Punch's LF looks like a bomb went off in it. He has some mild arthritis and a dropped suspensory. 5 cc of monthly polyglycan and being cognizant of what he is jumping has worked for us thus far. Maybe I need to bring this guy home

You should Alison! He looks like a foxhunter doesn't he? I love how solid he is and his expression is priceless, I adore him.

What a stout boy! He looks like my QH but with a cuter face and better personality.
I hope someone here gets him.

Alison this horse has the wisest eye! You've got to call about him! He's a big, stout guy and I bet he'd be fun to ride. The trainer said he was "tough to gallop" but the older ones do tend to be. A little turn out and some suppling and you got yourself a heck of a nice horse! The trainer's name is John Guciardo. 813-503-7320

boy, he is cute. Jag had osselets but was fine too. I wouldn't shy away from this boy. He looks like a warmblood - he would be so cute going down the centerline, and he has his own bling.

Diane, this was the only one he wanted to give away so probably the same horse. We were thinking about buying the grey filly to run but have no room right now. He told me the other day that he had something lined up for her.
If anyone is interested in this gelding, please call asap. John will be leaving for FL on Saturday and really needs a good home for him. He petted him on the head and said, "I really like this horse a lot, I hope you can help me find him a good home...."
