Update: This horse is currently in Florida with his trainer. She called yesterday and asked if I knew anyone who would take him. She said she'd do away with the lease and just give him to a good home. She also said she can set up shipping along the east coast at a cheaper rate as she has some friends heading back north with empty trailers. This is a lovely horse who would be in my barn in a heartbeat if I had the time for him! -------------------------------------------------------- Real special is a 1997 model 16 hand TB gelding. This horse belongs to his trainer who kept him for herself after she retired him from racing. She has done a little bit of everything on this guy. She rides him around the farm bareback with a halter and lead only. He trail rides with no issue. She said he's 100% sound and could learn to jump if someone wanted to teach him. This cutey is a dark bay...nearly black with a blaze and a sock on one hind leg and one front leg. Special has not raced in a few years and is used to turn out with friends. His owner says he will only go to the BEST home where she'll expect regular updates on him. She's offering this horse for free. Check out his pedigree! www.pedigreequery.com/real+special2Special is located at a training center in PA only about 15 minutes form Mountaineer Park. Please PM me for the trainer's contact info.

Holy crap is that horse beautifully bred and I bet he would be an awesome eventer just based on that pedigree alone! I wish I could afford another horse, I'd take him in a heart beat!

Someone should snap him up quick Jen. He is my favorite type of horse :-) Look how kind those eyes are.
He will definitely make a BFF horse for some lucky person.

I love him. Has SMay seen his ad? He looks like he might fit the bill for mini-May.

Oh my gosh he is extremely cute, too. What a cute blaze on that face! She really rides him around the farm in a HALTER? Man, he sounds like a good citizen but I am SO worried about getting a horse sight unseen..I mean, test-ride-unseen! I can "see" him pretty good here! That's probably the worst "sales" video ever made huh? hahaha trotting back and forth in a halter, bareback... but it tells ya something about the horse!

Smay, I could totally see Caroline with this horse....Look at his face..how can you resist??
Sounds like she would be willing to take him back if it didn't work out.

Lol Smay! It was a last minute thing on my cell phone. She asked if she should get on him. I said sure. Had to lwg her up. Her lwad came untied when she got back up that drive and so she was riding around with only one rein.
