SICILIAN BOY SOLD! Thanks Karen Ward of Mocksville, NC. All the best! 16.2 ½” 2001 Dark bay or brown horse (stallion). Stallion prospect. This gorgeous Mr. Prospector line stallion was stakes placed at Belmont as a 4 yo (9F turf), finishing 2nd in the Kingston Handicap. As well bred as he is good looking, Sicilian Boy is out of the fantastic multiple Gr 1 winning mare CUPECOY’S JOY, who counts wins in the Gr 1 Mother Goose and Gr 1 Acorn Stakes among her 6 victories (5 stakes wins, 11 stakes placings). This phenomenal mare led the first mile in the 1982 Kentucky Derby before tiring to finish 10th, then a month later broke Ruffian’s stakes record in the Acorn Stakes by going the mile in 1:34 1/5. Among her other notable races were a 2nd place finish in the Coaching Club American Oaks and a 3rd in the Jim Beam Spiral Stakes. Sicilian Boy is by the wonderfully talented SENOR SPEEDY, a 5x GSW who won or placed in 17 stakes in his career. Sicilian Boy is only for sale to a home that is experienced with handling TB breeding stock - he is not suitable for the “average Joe” to handle. He does currently have a hock injury from an accident in the horse trailer but has an excellent prognosis. Superb prospect for race or sport horses. Special terms apply. Contact Jessi at Jpizzurro@comcast.net or (330) 383 1281 for more information. www.pedigreequery.com/sicilian+boypets.webshots.com/album/574957918aEsNEO

Hubba, Hubba! He'd be on my short list if I lived in IN. Unfortunately, MO bred means less than zero for TBs.
