These are around 7 years old. I've worn them less than 20 times. They've just been sitting in the closet. I have some screws in my ankle that rub in these so can't wear them. Silly me for just letting them sit there! The tag says W8 on the size. There was no wide or narrow when these were made so I have no idea what the W stands for.

My boots are an older model than the ones pictured in the Dover ad.
They look the same to me
