What kind of fat free broth do you use? I've never tried fat free before. I usually go the unhealthy way and use the Lipton's chicken soup package, but I don't like the noodles so I dump them out and drink the broth. I forgot to answer your question - we buy the Swanson's chicken broth. It comes in both a can and a cardboard carton (like milk). It tastes great!

If you are going to prepare brown rice portions, I would suggest throwing some lentils in with the rice when you cook it. It is provide some protein for you and fill you up as well. You can experiment with seasonings too, to liven up the rice, or cook it in broth instead of plain water.
