Is it ok to open this forum up to 'Beyond Books'? Like films, DVDs, music, theatre?
I think we already have in some ways...

Siiiggghhhh - it's generation 'thang'.
There used to be a very popular TV programme called 'The Mod Squad'. (Yes, probably in black and white).... it may very well have been just in UK ... but it was verrrry trendy back in the 70's.
It was a sort of 'grooovy' group of people who 'righted wrongs'. (And it rhymes!)
I just thought it suited us and our new mods!
Now you're going to tell me you've never heard of 'The Avengers'?

I loved the Mod Squad. In fact I wanted to be like Julie (Peggy Lipton) when I grew up and Linc (Clarence Williams the 111)and Pete, (who was Pete?) were just so cool. They drove the neatest car and solved the best crimes. It was one show that mom and dad let us watch. and yes I remember the Avengers too. Emma Peel wasn't it? So British and so utterly cool. remember Sweets I am only 6 years younger than you.

Raising my wrinkled old hand. Yes. We did watch the Mod Squad, but we must have been infants. I remember Laugh In more vividly. I had a Pat Paulsen for President poster in my room, and I thought Rowan and Martin were ancient, but hilarious.
