Does anyone happen to know where I might be able to find a copy of Cookie McClung's "Horse People are Different" or her second book "Horse People are Still Different"?
I had read part of the 1st one several years ago, but would love to add it to my collection (or just finish it at least). I checked amazon, but couldn't find anything there.

Powells Books (www.powells.com) is a great place for used books.. I've been shopping there (online) for about 10 years now. They don't have to book you want but you can set up requests to be emailed if a book shows up. I found a few places that have "Horse People Are Still Different" if you want to pay $100 You can find them @ Barnes & Noble used and www.abebooks.com (another good place to find used books). You can also set up a search on Ebay and they will email you when auctions with that title come up. They don't have any right now but I've had some luck locating hard to find books there, too. Hope you find it.

criostaidh ... Forgive me, but I'm guessing you are pronounced 'Christy'? Looks like a good Irish name to me! Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Bara, I'm guessing "Cross Tied" with a Scottish burr.

LOL! Ann! Only Criostaidh knows for sure!
And here's another one - my own surname is Irish.. TUOHY ... any guesses?
(No prizes for Too-hoy or Toughie! Sigh...)

My real name is Kristi but I use the Scottish Gaelic spelling Criostaidh (and yes, pronounced Kristi/Christy) as a user name since it's always available and pays tribute to my Scottish heritage and my interest in Scottish Gaelic.

Ha! My Scottish-Irish roots pay-off. And can you pronounce my surname, Criostaidh? Or my little cousin's first name. It's Scottish Gaelic - Seonaid-Mhairi?

Oh, Ann! Brava!! And thank you. I spent my young life just having to spell myself out. And I lived in Euphorbia Drive.... Sigh...
Always meant to marry a Smith ...
