No I think that is the very last Horcrux Voldemort had done so much damage to his soul splitting it into 7 pieces that when Harry finally figured out he had to die to be rid of it. I don't think that anyone realized that when Voldemort killed Harry that he would kill himself...I loved that Neville really came into his own and did what he did when everyone knew Harry was dead. Truthfully? I am re reading the book. I needed to iron out details in my brain!

Truthfully? I am re reading the book. I needed to iron out details in my brain! I just got done with my second reading and got a lot more, like why Voldemort really killed Snape, I missed that the first time. There was a lot of little stuff the on the first read I missed. I missed the part about Neville's grandmother shows up and starts fight also.

Oh my ! I just finished it. Wow. I'm reeling from the deaths and so amazed at how it all tied together - really clever, totally fab. Loved it. Will reread it when I've recovered. I too was surprised Petunia didn't come back into it, or Dudley. Seemed like that was hinted at in the beginning. A red herring no doubt. Also didn't quite get the small sobbing baby / Voldemorts soul section. Maybe on rereading. it was hard not to rush through at that point since you're so tantalisingly near the climax.

I really loved Neville's moment of glory at the end, when Voldemort tries to force him to become a Slytherin, and instead he shows his courage and loyalty to Gryffindor and pulls the sword out of the hat as only a "true Gryffindor" can do. I think that was one of my favorite scenes.

I finally got all caught up and finished this over the weekend. I agree that Neville is wonderful at the end. I'm kind of sad also though that this is the last book.

Wow! By far, the best book of the series. Loved it!
I'm going to read it again, but like the others, I'm decompressing and digesting all of the information.
Very clever ;D
