The Jones Family Cookbook! My mother collected recipes from her aunts, cousins, etc. (even from me) and put them all together in a cookbook. I have one clean copy and one that is coated with 25 years of spilled buttermilk, eggs, flour, etc. It's all midwestern farm cooking, pre-health food. There's a whole chapter that could be called Heart Attack on a Plate.
We also love The New York Cookbook, by Molly O'Neill. Bruce is planning to make Ebinger's All Chocolate Blackout Cake for my birthday. Bruce says this cake must be eaten within 24 hours, but I can't find that exact instruction in the recipe. Still, it's better not to take chances, so I will tuck in obediently!

The Fannie Farmer Cookbook This was the cook book I started cooking with...simple time tested recipes that I refer to again and again. Of course I branched out after Fannie Farmer and now have about 2 dozen cook books and several devoted just to chocolate and chocolate recipes Plus I have the ever faithful old photo album that has my most prized recipes tucked between is ratty old sleeves. Like honey baked chicken yum yum ;D

We are doing a video and taking loads of stills. Do we like him? His name is Oliver - but not Jamie. He is Ollie Rowe. He has a TV programme here. If you don't like him - I'll cancel him! We have a fab venue - a church converted into flats.

I think Jaime Oliver is a hottie, but the book I go to often is the Moosewood Low Fat cookbook. Recipes are mostly veg (though I'm not) and are really good, especially during the growing season and I'm getting lots of veggies from my CSA.
I also collect pre-WWII cookbooks that were published by local groups (ladies church groups, junior leagues, etc.) They're a great source for 'heirloom' recipes that don't include convenience ingredients.
Also, The Best Light Recipes by the Cooks magazine staff is great. They lighten (but don't destroy) popular recipes.
And I love epicurious.com .
