"A Good Day To Run" just won his race! Man was that nice! It's been a while since we won a race and then the track was closed for almost three weeks.
One more race tonight, the 8th....it's at 9:55pm. Valid Dancer is running.
Tomorrow night we have two racing as well.

OKay, tonight was a GREAT night! Valid just won his race too!! I'm so exicted! Wanted to go to bed right after his race but now I'm way too pumped up! |

This is Good Day:  I thought I had a shot of Valid but I guess not. He's a small dark dappled grey boy who is built like a tank. |

I am so excited for you guys, way to go! And, didn't Folly just do well the other week? I secretly covet that horse ;D That his his name, right Jen? The big older grey that was in the end stall I thought was so gorgeous, we talked about him today.

lol....yep that's Folly. He's due to run again soon. I thin he ran 3rd last time, I can't remember. Tomorrow night we have Fast and Fluid in and also Winabull. Crossing my fingers for a night that is just as successful!! Just for you M....here's Folly....  |

That's the boy! I love that horse and look how sweet he's being to the dog. I thought he ran second in the second race on Jan 2 or something crazy like that! You'll have to let me know when he's running again.

Man, who was that.....I remember it was second race, post number two and the horse ran second. Might have been him. I can't remember.
It's funny I caught that shot of him on my camera phone. He's normally pretty awnry with the dogs but this dog used to get "massages" from all the horses. They all loved her.

Congratulations Jen. I'm especially pleased about Good Day because I was so happy you guys claimed him back again. Sounds like he's back in form now Congratulations of the allowance race win with Valid too and I hope that Winabull and Fast and Fluid do just as well tonight. That was a nice price on Valid too - wish I had bet! |

Thank you! The whole barn was in good spirits this morning. Seems like all the horses get it too. When you have a few wins the winners get "cocky" and the rest of the horses seem to play off of it. I think that's how barns really get on a role. The horses feel it form their humans and it spreads through the barn. I'm hoping this is just the beginning of a great year!

lol....nope! Our last race was at 10pm last night. No way was I going to drag my big ole butt out in that cold to buy some! lol!! It was freezing last night! That's a job that is better for the in-laws that were already out there last night!

Good Day WAS a love bug before he was claimed. He came back awnry and crabby. He's getting better though. I rubbed on him tonight and found a sweet spot he likes right under his jowls. Then when I stopped, he bit me! He also seems to HATE dogs now. That was never an issue before. But if one walks by his stall he'll chage and try to bite it. He was gone for over a year so who knows what changed him. He's still a cool horse though.
Fingers crossed for Winabull (9:30pm, 7th race) and for Fast and Fluid (9:55pm, 8th race) tonight!
