What a race by Rags to Riches. Stumbled at the start, ran four wide and when it came time to throw down in the stretch, she prevailed. And she even beat older brother Jazil's time (albeit by the faintest whisker: 2:28.74 to his 2:28.75) A wonderful effort by a wonderful filly! Details: tcm.bloodhorse.com/viewstory.asp?id=39308And kudos to Mom - Better Than Honor, the mare who foaled back to back Belmont winners:

Congratulations to Better Than Honor ! Can we assume this is the first time maternal siblings have won back to back Belmonts ?

It was an awesome finish!!!!! I figured it would be a "two horse" race.

I am pretty sure that this is the first time a mare has foaled two winners of American classics. I can't think of any other similar incident in history.
