I have several I like - Noble Causeway, Afleet Alex, Greeley's Galaxy, Buzzard's Bay and Wilko - in that order.

Julia, the posts really shouldn't be that big of a deal because they will start near the top of the stretch. Being on a straight-away is usually okay for an outside post. If the were going a flat mile, then it would be REALLY bad because they start on a turn.
Well, just because I love the jockey, I would like to see Sun King do well. But I will probably route for Pletcher's horses too because my close friend is one of his assitant trainers. I also like Wilko and of course we will cheer on Buzzard's Bay!

First off...long time no see! :wavey:
I love Bellamy Road and Afleet Alex, can't wait to see them go at it in the Derby. I also love Wilko...such a gutsy little horse, he never puts in a bad performance.
On that note...
1st: Afleet Alex - I can't see anything wrong with this boy, he's my No.1 pick, other than his Rebel run this year, which you can obviously throw out, he has been phenomenal, he can go the distance, so far he runs his heart out in every race, and 8 times out of nine he hasn't gotten worse than second, and all his races were pretty much against good company...if he runs the derby like he did the Arkansas Derby then he has it won.
2nd: Flower Alley - This horse has been overlooked. Yes, only four starts which is something I hate...but it has been a good four starts. In his stakes debut he won, despite an eventful trip...then came back in the Arkansas derby second to my top pick who blew them away...but it was a game effort anyway!
3rd: High Fly - Love this horse, other than his Holy Bull Stakes, which he got a horrid trip, he has been perfect. He can go the distance and has the pedigree for it, don't know why exactly but I think he's going to be tough.
4th: Bellamy Road - Yes he does have the pedigree, and the Wood was VERY impressive, but he reminds me too much of Indian Charlie...lightly raced, not really proven...if he wins the derby then he'll have totally won me over, there is tons of talent in the derby and will be the hardest field he has ever raced against. But yea...the big win, the fast works, lightly raced...reeks of Indian Charlie who was a good horse in his own right...but had the same type of route going into the derby and look what happened, he lost and never raced again.
5th: Wilko - Love him because he is such a game little horse, and unlike Bellamy Road...he has race TONS. Even though he just can't seem to win yet this year, I love him and he is one of my top picks because he is such a fighter. He has been proven though, beating everyone in the BCJ. Since then he hasn't won, but tries everytime, something you just have to love.
6th: Sun King - One word...consistent...all he needs is a good trip and he just might get the job done. He isn't my top pick just because he hasn't done anything extremely special, but he is just such a consistant horse.
7th: Bandini - Eh, he's a nice looking horse, and he does have the pedigree to go the distance, but he just doesn't impress me. Only 5 starts in all, and only two of which were against graded company...in the FOY my second pick beat him, only by 3/4 of a length true. In the Blue-Grass he was on his game...he went wide but did the job. Good chance...
8th: Sort It Out - Another consistent horse...just hasn't raced against and beaten very good company, but he is a horse that improves every race...derby day might be his day,
9th: Noble Causeway - Gary Stevens...Nick Zito...two great things going for this horse. His only race against graded company was a huge effort...he came in second behind High Fly who is higher on my list. A potential winner...seems to eat up the distance.
10th: High Limit - Another lightly raced horse...though he hasn't gotten worse than second. His two graded starts have been good he won his stakes debut then came in a close second behind Bandini...no disgrace.
