It is a Vermont family owned company-AMAZING FEED! Yep. I feed it. Love it. I paid $2.00 a bale this year for a really nice timothy/grass mix. I always buy a year at a time, so I think that helps me get the best price. I feel for you. My relatives in Idaho are struggling to find hay - nothing under $300 per ton to be found. Montana still has an abundance and the prices are still low, but my guess is shipping would be exorbitant with the price of gas.

well, I found *some* hay for $6.00 a bale so I scooped that up...I also tried adding beet pulp again to the feed.. I did it by using a half cup instead of a full cup...so far so good...

Please help. I am looking for hay.. I am located in Mokena IL I will to pay up to $4.00 a bale. If you have more that 20 bales I would need it delivered as my truck will only carry 20. Looking for a grass or alfalfa mix, please no staight alfalfa.. Thanks! I have hay in Michigan. We are nearing the end of our supply, but if it would help we have about 500 bales total of grass hay. 100 first cutting priced at $5 and 400 second priced at $7. Both are green and soft. We can deliver for $2.25 per mile. Mokena is about 125 miles. I took a load the Manhatten about a month ago, so not a bad drive. We would not want to make the run for much less than 200 bales, so if you can not use that many maybe you have a friend that can take part of it. Let me know if it helps. We also are taking 2008 orders. Rainey Farm 269-655-8855 x22 or Cell 269-370-2174

Angie,
Check with Judy Fabrizie she is the breeder of my TB and I know she grows and sells hay. If you want to find her information it's on illinoishorse.com under studs - Comedian. She is not the cheapest one in town by does have great hay. She is located in Maple Park, IL.
Hope this helps.
