Lynne, Bruce lived on the outskirts of Anchorage. His sisters had horses. We went through a few years ago and the people who own it now have mini horses and gave the place a name like Singing Pines or Whispering Trees or something along those lines. Bruce was sad to see little horses fenced and grazing all over what used to be the lawn he mowed, uphill both ways, with a non-motorized mower, in the hot hot Kenucky sun, etc. What?! Did he think they would make that lawn into a shrine or something? No kinfolk there nowadays, but I'd come to Louisville to see Paco!

... heading! ;D
Your Paco is wonderful - I saw the old pix. Can we see his poor (recovered!) feet? You're a cool dude-ess! (How's THAT for a Brit!)
And Buckie-Butt-Slarty-Bartfast-Wiper-Pulse - is beeoootiful!
Tell me - have I killed my friendly neighbourhood donks? With no treats but a block of 'Cooking Chocolate' they welcomed me to their paddock last night. OK, OK - they only had two 'squares' each.
Ad - can't see my ghost, Abbot John? No, no, I think he's still firmly ensconced in the 'auld country'. I'll have another look. But as you say - the equines would have spotted him, I think!
Love B

Any house that has such a cutie as Paco and that poor defamed buckskin is as good as a castle as far as I'm concerned. They are sooo cute! I always wanted a leetle burro. You'd really have a laugh at my house. It was built in 1912 and is teeny tiny, but I love it. Speaking of castles hehe, and the lack thereof, has anyone visited Chantilly, just outside Paris? The king thought he'd be reincarnated as a horse so the stables are as elegant as the castle. The most beautiful race track and exercise track I've ever seen. I didn't tour the castle - but I toured the stables! Priorities ;D let's see if the link works www.dressage.to/images/photos/paris/chantillychateau.jpg
