Looking for perfect home for my boy

1995 16.2hh TB gelding needs good home soon. Has schooled up to 3rd level dressage and is great on trails. He has chips in his knees and is serviceably sound, but will require supplements (Glucosamine or Chondroitant) in the future. Has a loving, sweet personality with no vices and no bad habits. Fun to ride and does not buck, rear, take off, or indulge in any other naughty behavior. Priced at $2500 because the owner is concerned he find the right home - with love, attention and willing to maintain his soundness. He is currently ridden 5 times a week with no problem. Thank-you for the compliments, he is really beautiful. He was orphaned at birth and raised by people, so he's a big puppy dog who never does anything wrong (all the other horses mock him for being such a goodie-two-shoes!). You know, I still can't see the pictures on my pc! Weird. Anyway, he's a special boy so if you know of anyone, let me know. Price is negotiable to the right person.

I LOVE the trotting pic. He has such nice action. I really like those snappy knees as I call them. It's like bang bang bang bang - real fast movement. I guess I should have gotten an STB.

I'd pull his mane and get a few more shots. He is very handsome.

You could sell him for a lot more since he is schooled so high in Dressage.

He has a great trot, I love it, too! I did have him priced higher, but then I got to thinking about it, and I realized the average price for a 3rd level horse is 15-20k, not counting imported "real" Warmbloods, and so if I set my price at anything around 8-10k, no one would come to look at him, thinking there was something wrong. Well, there's nothing wrong per se, but he will require joint supplements, and I think that scares people, or at least, people who aren't familar with chips. I don't feel like going through that whole "I want a perfect horse for my 8k" smeel, so I am letting him go at a steal to the right person. I just want to find him a good home, I'm not concerned about making a bundle. I don't want someone to buy him for resale, though, he's too sweet to be passed on and on, he needs a mommy!

Oh, and yes I have pulled his mane and clipped his wittle nose since the pictures were taken! (And he fell asleep during all of it.) I do need to get some more pictures soon, maybe in a snaffle this time so the double doesn't scare away people who aren't at that level yet.

The picture link thing is very odd-- still haven't figured out why it's not working at first!!

Hi Dineen!! How are you doing?? Yep, Cher is a big puppy dog.
Julep is an ongoing saga. I've reduced her price to an incredible steal, so I have all this interest in her but I am flabbergasted by the strange experiences I have had trying to sell a SOUND, talented, mega-beautiful horse for a reasonable price! People are WEIRD, believe me!!
Anywhoo, I am going to put up an ad on this guy on Equine.com. Took some new pictures today and he looks boot-i-ful! I will post a link when I have it done.
