Click the little picture button up top that looks like this: And insert your picture URL between the img brackets. If you still have a problem, email the pics to me and I can post them for you. Christi

Some online photo hosting sites will not let you post your pics at a remote location (for example, www.webshots.com will not) so check their terms of service first. Some free websites that do allow remote hosting are: www.picturetrail.comwww.photobucket.com Also, you must use the url of the actual picture - must end in jpg, btm, etc) To get this address, go to the picture on the web, right click directly on the picture, and then go to "properties" and copy and then paste it in between the tags.

OK, I can't post a picture either. When I go to 'Properties' there's no URL address on my photo. I've clicked on the 'Location' info, and pasted it, but that doesn't work. I've clicked on the photo and tried to paste here, but that didn't work either.
Any other hints?

Thanks,

that's probably the problem. It's just on my computer under 'My Pictures' or 'My Documents'. I guess I have to dump it into a site like Photobucket?, or Yahoo, or some place. Let me know if that's what I have to do, I'll tackle it when I have time.

I have put a photo into the photobuckets site and cannot get it on this site. When you type the URL in the brackets do you leave the img letters in there that are there to begin with? and then what nothing is happening. I am rather computer illiterate and need more help please.

yes, you leave the [ img ] [ / img ] in the message. I put extra spaces in there so the tags would show, you shouldn't have any in your message. If you use photobucket, you can just copy the line under your picture that says Img and paste that directly here. It'll look like this (minus the spaces): [ img ] http: // img.photobucket.com/albums/v28/equinetroubleshooter/horses8-20007. jpg [ /img ] When you type the same line with no spaces in it, this is what you get: Also, don't worry if it doesn't work the first time or two, we've all had to learn at some point.

If I don't have my pictures on a website, does that mean I can't post pics, or are there other ways? My pictures aren't even saved on the computer, they are just on a disc.

Yes, pictures have to be saved somewhere on the internet, as mentioned above.
