Hi everyone! My 4 yo OTTB, Forrest, has retained testicular tissue. We went through a huge amount of test to come to that conclusion and some REALLY bad behavioral problems. He was scheduled for exploratory surgery twice so far and they had to be canceled. Forrest seemed to know what was going on and tried his hardest to prevent the unavoidable. ;D Finally with alot of code words at the barn and smoke signals from the vet I moved him to the vets office on Tuesday for surgery yesterday. I was told by the surgeon not to expect a call from her till late afternoon as Forrest was her second case and it would be a bit for them to find the piece of tissue. 2:30 pm I get a call from a very ticked off vet. She opened him up and low and behold there was a full testicle there. Well that explains EVERYTHING!!!! Forrest made it through the surgery just fine. He's coming home this evening!

WOW, that was easy, huh? I'm glad they found it quick and were done with it. Boy will that make a world of difference for poor Forrest Gumper!

Wow, I would be ticked off too! Having the full testicle there obviously made the surgical hunt easier, but leaving it there was quite an unethical thing for someone to do!

Yeah, unethical is an understatement! Glad you went the extra mile though to figure out his problems and not just sending him down the road like a lot of people would have done.
